MORE DETAILS...

1980's > Community activities

In the 1980's, Lynn and her husband, Cliff, were new parents raising three lovely children and living in Yardley, PA. Lynn was involved in several community endeavors, to include: President of The Friends of Lake Afton, Founder of the Shade Tree Commission, The Yardley Community Center, and co-founder of a women's volleyball group (and where we learned to NOT invite the guys to join us because they got too rough)!

1990's > Health, The Environment, and Politics

During the 1990's, Lynn and her family moved next door to Lower Makefield, PA. She and other activists successfully fought against the fluoridation of their drinking water. But, she mainly focused on waste issues. She was the Solid Waste Chair for the Sierra Club in Pa and appointed to the PA State Solid Waste Advisory Committee.

Lynn was one of the first members of a national coalition to promote "zero waste". also founded Zero Waste America, an Internet-based environmental research website. Her eco-articles have been featured in print, online publications, and the books, Pollution: Opposing Viewpoints and Softly On This Earth.  Lynn was also featured in interviews on environment and health issues by WebMD.  Her 1998 report, State of the Nation’s Waste, was reported throughout the U.S..

From 1999-2002, Lynn was an environmental & health news reporter for Drexel University TV (DUTV) in Philadelphia, hosted her own radio talk show on WDVR in New Jersey, and was a weekly commentator for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) radio program Five Alive.

Also in the 1990's, Lynn was the Chair of the Democratic Party in Lower Makefield, PA and ran unsuccessfully for Township Supervisor. Today, she's a MAHA Republican in Philly, a Ward 5 Committee Person, Treasurer, and Founder of Philly's Republican Network - PhillysRep.Net

2000-2008 > Voting Integrity

From 2000-2008, Lynn was one of the first freelance jounalist-activists to write articles and publicly speak out about Election Integrity issues, specifically challenging voting technology, which can be found at ProtocolsForDemocracy.org.  She also filed an unsuccessful lawsuit against the city of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Department of State, and federal government for its support of non-transparent voting processes, to include voting technology and absentee voting. Lynn's work has been noted in the books Hacked and BlackBoxVoting, and was a guest speaker at events across the country. Lynn also appeared in several documentaries including: Got Democracy, The Right To Count, Stealing America, and her own, Voting 101 and The Fix Is In.

2010 - 2025 > Foraging, The Fiber Arts, Historic Streets, Safe Streets, & Health

From 2010-2025, Lynn started five more websites & meetup groups. On foraging (Wild Foodies of Philly) and the fiber arts (Philly Knits), whose meetups now include more than 10,000 members.  Although still involved with them in a supportive role, Lynn has passed the leadership on to others. She also started Small Streets Philly, SafeStreetsPhilly, & Health Alert Philly, whose meetups have ended, but their websites continue to provide useful information and Lynn stays involved as needed. With the exception of Safe Streets, where she still calls 911 nearly every day to help keep our streets safe!

From 2025 onward > It's Politics!

For the foreseeable future, Lynn is dedicating herself to politics, which you can find at Philly's Republican Network.
